‍Harpur Centre Hosts Veggie Seed Planting Event for Great Big Green Week.

Join Harpur Centre on Saturday, June 15th, as they celebrate the Great Big Green Week in Bedford with an exciting event: Veggie Seed Planting in biodegradable pots! As part of the UK’s largest celebration of community action to combat climate change and protect nature, families are invited to come together for a day of green-fingered fun.

This special Kid’s Club event will take place from 10 AM to 4 PM, offering everyone the chance to get their hands dirty while making a positive impact on the environment. With biodegradable pots and a variety of vegetable seeds to choose from, participants can plant their own little piece of nature to take home and nurture.

But that's not all! Harpur, the centre's mascot, will be there to add to the fun, spreading cheer, posing for photos, and handing out balloons to all Kid’s Club attendees. It's a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy a day out while supporting a great cause.

Best of all, this event is completely FREE, so mark your calendars and join Harpur Centre for a day of community, sustainability, and fun. Let's come together to make a difference and celebrate the beauty of our planet!
