The Harpur Centre is gearing up for another wild adventure as the much-loved, critter-themed FREE Kid’s Club returns on Saturday, January 10th 2026. Back for its third appearance, the Exotic Critter Kid’s Club promises even more unforgettable animal encounters for families to enjoy.
Children are invited to take part in the popular Exotic Critter Workshops, a series of hands-on, educational sessions open to all ages. Four captivating workshops will run throughout the day at 10:15, 11:30, 1:00, and 2:15, each lasting one hour and accommodating up to 30 children. The event will take place in the Centre’s basement, where a lively line-up of activities awaits.
Young explorers can look forward to meeting a variety of fascinating animal ambassadors, from reptiles and mammals to the team’s famous party pooch, Chip. This award-winning crew brings learning to life, combining fun and education in every encounter.
Harpur, the Centre’s friendly mascot, will also be making appearances throughout the day, offering balloons, photo opportunities, and plenty of smiles.
Kid’s Club members are encouraged to join in the fun, and newcomers can sign up either on the day or in advance through the Harpur Centre website. Membership is free and provides access to family-focused events all year round.
