Bedford Central and the four branch libraries are all holding arts and crafts sessions for kids throughout half-term, with each library having a different theme.

It’s all dinosaurs and dragons at Bedford Central Library, with sessions building dragon models, and making bookmarks and crowns, and dinosaur masks and window decorations.

Bromham Library is going medieval, with craft sessions including design a sword and create a ‘castle door scene’.

It’s off to space at Kempston Library, with a chance to create a solar system for your window, or make a flying rocket using straws.

Everyone’s a superhero at Wootton Library, where kids can make a superhero mask, take part in the superhero treasure hunt, and make a superhero themed glider.

Finally, at Putnoe Library it’s all happening with music crafts, create your own carnival mask, and royal court crafts.

Cllr Sarah- Jayne Gallagher, Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Culture said “There are a huge variety of craft sessions happening across our libraries this half-term. This is a great chance to visit your local library, with opportunities for your kids to try something new and get creative.”
