The Bedford & District Cerebral Palsy Society Race Night is on Saturday 17 March 2018 at Great Denham Community Hall. Tickets of £5 each are now on sale.
Race nights are effectively a small scale lottery where horse races are shown on the giant screen. Each race features 8 horses with one of them obviously winning. Before each race the audience can buy ‘betting tickets’ for their chosen horse.
The horse races is simply a means of choosing a random number between 1 and 8. Each horse has the same chance of winning, there is no form and no odds. If the horse you choose comes home first the amount you win will be dependent on the number of ‘bets’ taken on that horse.
We are scheduled to have 8 races, with 8 horses per race. Please note that the horses in the final race will be auctioned on the night.
We also have 56 horses from the first 7 races available to be purchase for £10 each ahead of the night. You can choose his/her name. If your horse wins the race that they run in, you win £40. However, all horses must be purchased for that to happen!
We will also have a selection of snacks available free of charge, a licensed bar will be on hand to purchase alcoholic and soft/fizzy drinks from and we be holding a raffle too.
